The story of this house says that it was built in 1917 and it was an apple and plum orchard. Records show payment of property tax til 1923. I have tried to find information in between but have not been successful. In 1971 this couple bought the house, which was, by then, divided into 2 apartments, one above and one below with a shared bathroom. By 1979, the couple sold it to a widower with 6 kids, who then turned it into a single unit house again.

Jeg har ikke noe bilde av gangen ennå men der er det en garderobe som er ubrukelig for meg med en gamle retro 1960's tappet som jeg skal prøve å ikke øddeleg. Har fått denne flott kommode fra finn.no som skal stå i stedet av garderoben!

I don't have a photo of the hallway yet, however, there is this closet that is taking up all the space in the world.  I am going to remove it and in its place I will put a set of drawers to put away stuff. There is a really retro 1960's wallpaper covering it that I will try to remove with the least possible damage. In the meantime, this is what I got to put in place of the closet:
