Yep. Finally after 2 months of going back and forth, I made one of the most important decisions of my life. I have purchased a house!
Huset ligger i Rødsveien 14 i området i Framnes i Sandefjord, Vestfold (Sørøst-Norge). Nummeret på gård er 112 og BNR er 96.
14 Er min lykkelig tall! 2 ganger 7 :)
An old house. According to the previous owner, the name of the house was "Tjodheim" and I am still working on the research of the house's past. Built in 1917, the original house had something called an "utehus" which was and outside toilet. It was later redone and the utehus was linked to the main house. Today, 1/4 of the utehus is a shed for wood and tools and the other 3/4 is the bathroom.

Yes, there is a lot of work to do in the house, it needs to be redone from head to toe as the last time it saw any attempt of refurbishing was in 1991... 20 years ago! So those of you out there who know about refurbishing in Nordic countries, your comments, suggestions and help are all welcome.
Also, if you have any insight as to the history of the area, please, send it this way! The house is located in Rødsveien 14 in the neighborhood of Framnes in Sandefjord, Vestfold (Southeastern Norway). The number of the gård is 112 and the bnr is 96.
So, 14 is my lucky number!!! (that is 2 times lucky 7!)
This is what it looks like in 2019:
Not much of an increase in value given that work is done so slowly, but looking forward to the next score.
